Also known as morning sickness

Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy is very common. Many people feel sick to their stomach or throw up, especially in the first three months of pregnancy. It can happen at any time of day, not just in the morning. Some people feel a little sick, and others feel sick many times a day.

You do not always need to see a doctor first. In many cases our pharmacists may be able to prescribe treatments to help with these symptoms.

Please note that an appointment with the pharmacist does not guarantee a prescription. The pharmacist will assess your symptoms and decide if treatment at the pharmacy is right for you, or if you should be referred to a doctor.
